Lynnette Wilkinson is the Director of Administration at Advanced Communication Technology AV, where Lynnette manages all aspects of Administration from Head Office including Human Resources, Shipping/Receiving, and Accounting.
As an immigrant to Canada, Lynnette understands the hard work it takes to start anew and brought this knowledge and understanding to ACTav and built a comprehensive administrative department within a new and growing business, along with gaining knowledge of the Audio Visual Industry through direct work with clients and technologists. Lynnette has accomplished full integration of new Accounting and CRM software to help better troubleshoot any potential issues within the administrative aspect of the company as well provide a stress-free process for clients and internal employees in all aspects of Human Resources and Accounting.
Lynnette is a mother of 5 who loves to go camping, in an actual tent, hiking, and yard currently residing in beautiful Calgary Alberta
Born and raised just outside of Regina, James Dickenson comes to ACT Audiovisual with 15 years of experience in the customer service industry. As general manager of Saskatchewan operations he delivers a hands-on approach to leadership, as well as an eye for detail, all to better serve our clients and earn their loyalty and trust.
James received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Regina in 2007. After several years spent working as an assistant at a climate research centre, he left academics and moved into the fitness industry, working for an international franchise as they opened their first location in Canada. He rose through the ranks by taking on additional challenges, often travelling to assist management at other locations. In 2018 James took on the General Manager position in Saskatoon. Saskatoon soon gained a reputation for competitiveness; they consistently lead the region during sales drives and delivered year over year double digit improvements in KPIs. Opposed to aggressive sales tactics, James achieved this though word of mouth and by having the most experienced staff in western Canada.
James now leads ACT Audiovisual’s Saskatchewan operations and our outstanding production, installation, and sales teams. Although new to the industry he has proven adaptability and has frontline experience in organising during these challenging times. Together ACT Audiovisual is prepared and excited to help their partners meet all their communication needs.
Michael DiPaolo is a native Calgarian and University of Calgary graduate with a major in Economics and Finance. He also received All Canadian honours at the University of Lethbridge as a member of the men’s national basketball team while studying Commerce?(Finance/Marketing). Michael has experience in a number of industries in the Calgary region, notably with a focus on high volume sales. Pipeline management and corporate account execution along with profit driven venture partnerships are also notable areas of expertise. He has over 10 years of experience in territory management and product/service development in the energy sector in Calgary and enjoyed his time building key relationships and managing long term client partnerships of major business accounts.
Michael has also managed a series of financial portfolios and engaged several key businesses in Canada and the United States over the recent years for the purposes of financial consulting and capital raise endeavors over an extended period of time while managing and building those client relationships personally for the companies as well. He is extremely excited to bring his experience and contributions to the ACTav Team and developing long term, customer oriented, relationships with current and future ACTav clients and partners.
Peter Cucheran joined the ACTav team in 2015 with a shared vision and passion for entrepreneurial ventures. Peter brings to the team over 20 years of Commercial, Industrial and Residential construction, building and facility management, law enforcement and Human Resources experience. Peter’s strengths in financial management and team building throughout his career and multiple business ventures make his vast skill set and experience specifically valuable to ACTav.
Peter was born and raised on the South Coast of British Columbia where he immediately began his entrepreneurial endeavours, purchasing his first business from a retiring businessman at the age of 16 installing signs for local realtors. Never satisfied with mediocrity, Peter was seeking additional business opportunities out in various fields, ensuring his success though thorough research and securing advice from more experienced professionals in the field. At 25 years old Peter joined the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) while continuing his business ventures. He purchased ownership in a construction company allowing him to contribute to the financial management of the company but continue to assist and stay current with the labour activities on active work sites.
Peter maintains a commitment to open collaboration among ACTav’s internal stakeholders to meet and, when possible, exceed the company’s objectives for responsible management and financial strength.
A father to 3 young children Peter looks at life as an adventure. Peter is passionate and driven to always push himself in new ways to bring exciting and creative ideas to his businesses as well as his family. Always looking to improve, Peter’s vibrant approach to life is a welcome and necessary part to the success of ACTav.
Born, raised, and educated throughout the prairies and Western Canada, James currently resides in Calgary, Alberta with his wife of 20+ years, Lynnette, and his 5 children. Over the course of 30 years, James has held jobs in a variety of interesting industries, never hesitant to try something new and work hard.
James entered the technology industry in the early 2000’s as the production coordinator for a small Saskatchewan owned company called Nagel’s Audio Visual. He moved on to serve as the general manager for a Regina-based multinational event services company and then transferred to a position in Winnipeg as the Regional Director for Saskatchewan and Manitoba, as well as serving as the Director of Event Services for the Fairmont Winnipeg. In 2015 James founded Advanced Communication Technology Inc. Operating as ACT audiovisual, ACT Inc. has served the Regina and Saskatoon regions in the live events and integration channels of the industry. Along with his business partner, James has grown ACT audiovisual to service the Saskatchewan and Alberta markets.
